The primary purpose of the Irrigation Service Technician is to provide repair and service for automatic irrigation systems, ensuring their efficient operation and the satisfaction of our clients.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Job Duties
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair automatic irrigation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and water wastage.
- Replace or upgrade faulty components, such as valves, controllers, and sensors.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their irrigation needs and make appropriate system adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with local water regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts used.
- Stay up-to-date with new irrigation technology and best practices.
Working Conditions
- Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Regularly lift and carry equipment and materials.
- Travel to client locations for service calls.
- Full-time position with overtime during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and components.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
Experience
- Previous experience in irrigation systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- On-the-job training may be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge and Skills
- Familiarity with common irrigation system components.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
- Understanding of irrigation scheduling and water management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Backflow Assembly Tester certification for the State of Idaho
As a Landscape and Irrigation Installation Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in the creation and enhancement of outdoor spaces. Working under the guidance of a Landscape Foreman, you will contribute to the implementation of landscape designs, ensuring the proper installation of plants, hardscape features, bark or rock mulch, and irrigation systems. This role requires a combination of physical labor, technical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing sites for landscaping projects by clearing debris, grading terrain, and marking out boundaries according to design plans.
- Planting: Participate in the installation of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants, ensuring proper placement, spacing, and soil preparation.
- Hardscape Installation: Aid in the construction of paths, patios, walls, and other hardscape features using materials such as pavers, bricks, and stones.
- Irrigation System Installation: Assist in the installation of irrigation systems, including laying pipes, placing sprinkler heads, and connecting valves according to design specifications.
- Grading and Drainage: Help with grading and leveling terrain to ensure proper water drainage away from structures and plantings.
- Mulching and Edging: Apply mulch to garden beds to conserve moisture and suppress weed growth, and edge plant beds to create clean lines and define borders.
- Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as skid-steer loaders and compactors safely and efficiently.
- Material Handling: Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on job sites.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications.
- Cleanup and Site Maintenance: Participate in cleanup efforts, including the removal of debris and the restoration of work areas upon completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, digging, and operating heavy equipment.
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or irrigation installation preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of landscape construction techniques, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation methods is advantageous.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for operating company vehicles.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to completing assigned tasks thoroughly and on time.
